The Film
We filmed and performed at art spaces as well as iconic natural sites (Big Sur, Yosemite, Joshua Tree the Salton Sea). At each stop, in addition to documenting our performances, we interviewed, conversed and interacted with card-carrying ecosexual artists, activists, thinkers, and practitioners, as well as any detractors.
These interactions form the core of the film, and water issues in California and provided an underlying current as we traveled. The film explores practices such as waste water treatment, water extraction, and swimming pools in unexpected and informative ways,engaging humor where possible. This film has an unexpected twist at the end that reaffirms the power of ecosex love and strategies of joy!
